A BIT OF HISTORY
Kirton Leisure started life out as a simple potato shed but went on to be the beating heart of Kirton’s community. When Roy bought it in 1994, it was being used as an indoor bowling green and had already started its journey to becoming a place where people enjoyed spending their free time. Roy went on to transform it even more by converting it into a leisure centre with a main bar and a large room for aerobics and functions. It even included a fully equipped gym, sunbeds, and a sauna! Not forgetting the full-sized snooker tables.
A few years later, Roy built the five-aside football pitch, put together a league and built Leisure Land.
As time goes on, it continues to evolve and is now one of Kirton’s most social pubs, with two large function rooms for all types of special events. People can enjoy a drink while watching or playing sports in a welcoming environment they know and love.

Kirton Leisure has been a part of my family's life since before I was born - I have watched my parents transform the place over the years from a bustling leisure centre to the incredible venue it is now, all while raising me and my two brothers. It fills me with such pride to now be landlady of a place so close to my heart, alongside my daughters who will grow up in this amazing community we feel so lucky to be a part of.
